You talking to me?

  • My wife Laurel of 40 years. I look at this when I'm trying to remember why I got married. Ouch! She just kicked me!

  • My son Troy and my wife Laurel. I have no idea what they are smiling at. Probably put my shirt on inside out again. That happens a lot at my age.
  • Who is this old guy hitting on my wife? He's either drunk or it's 3 hours past his bed time. How did he go from Navy Seal to Old Fart so quickly?
  • Young buck of 20 and in College. Life was good.
  • Yep, I was that young once. All of 24 or so. Actually, I'm just glad to be alive. At this age I'm in UDT 11 and just got back from Viet Nam. Next stop, Seal Team 1.

  • An entire UDT team assembles for your viewing pleasure. Many of these guys are destined to become the first SEALS ever as Plank owners. Many of the rest ultimately will become SEALS in the followup call to duty, just as I did. These will become the Viet Nam Seal Vets who will create the reputation which SEAL Teams will rely upon to survive post Viet Nam cuts in defense spending. Without them the SEALS of today might likely not be around. Four UDT teams will form the backbone of the future Navy Seals and from those ranks will be forged, mutitudes of decorated combat veterans, including 3 Metal of Honor winners, from the Viet Nam era alone and from less than 1000 men. Many more high decorations and Metal of Honors will be handed out to those many men that have served since. It is my life's greatest honor to have served among them and to call them my brothers.
